If you are a tablet enthusiast looking to get your hands on a Microsoft Surface tablet, here is a good chance. That is because the Redmond based software giant has just announced a new version of the Surface tablet and a bunch of new accessories. If you want the power and performance of a laptop in the light and mobile chassis of a tablet, take a look at the new Microsoft Surface Pro, which runs the new Windows 8 Pro operating system and is built on Intel’s hardware to give all the performance it can. And this is available in 128 GB variant.
Along with this, there is also a new 64 GB version of the Microsoft Surface RT tablet. These new tablets are going on sale on all online and physical retail stores including Microsoft online store, Best Buy, and Staples in the United States, and Best Buy and Future Shop in Canada.
Also, the company is launching a new Wedge Touch Mouse Surface Edition for $69.95 in all markets where the Surface tablets are available. Also, there are three new limited edition Touch Covers in red, magenta, and cyan going retail for $129.99.
Not just this, but the company is working on expanding its market to a few more countries in Europe. On the 14th of this month, Microsoft will bring Surface RT tablets to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
Panos Panay, corporate vice president, Microsoft Surface said:
We are thrilled to expand the Surface family with the release of Surface Pro. The launch of Surface Pro marks a pivotal moment for customers who can now do more with their machines than ever before. Within the Surface family, customers will be able to choose a combination of devices that best suit their needs: Surface Pro, which provides the power and performance of a laptop in a tablet package, or Surface RT, which offers the convenience of a tablet with some laptop capabilities so you can get things done.
